Fancy Free for Goma x Uniqlo

Over the last couple of years, my pal Pae and I have run a DIY channel on youtube called Fancy Free.  We try and make a video when our schedules collide, revealing some of our crafty secrets to bedazzling, swamping, and all round glitterfying.  Throughout April, Pae and I had the total pleasure of bringing fancy free to Uniqlo in collaboration with GOMA to celebrate Brisbane…and their first year in it!

I did a TED x QUT talk!

After a year of script writing, meetings, planning, and panic…I did it! I did a TED talk! And I didn’t fall over, forget my words, ramble incessantly or swear inappropriately (believe me, all of those things were entirely possible!). I was thrilled and honoured to speak about my Apomogy project at the QUT Gardens Point…

4 days in New York

Last week I was lucky enough to find myself in New York for a speedy work trip.  This was my third trip to NY, but my first where the sun was actually shining!  My other trips to the city have been punctuated by icy breezes and hectic rain, with the streets of the city turning into aggressive wind…

The Magical Mundane

It’s been quite a while since I have posted anything to this here blog, but like many of you reading can probably relate, the end of last year got pretty mental!  Between workshops, Christmas parties, TED prep, and then venturing off to Japan (YAY!), every time I went to actually write a blog post I found that I was…
