Dress 365! All over red rover…

Hello lovely beans,

So this is it: the last dress for the ‘i make my day’ project, modelled by the beautiful Brooke amongst a number of my other favourite frocks, and girlies.  I of course cannot believe that this massive year has come to an end, and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has followed me through the journey over the past year.  I could not have done it without the support and encouragement of all you delightful folk, and am completely humbled by the generosity of people willing to part with their pennies, and their time, to support this dress-making challenge.

I have indeed learnt a lot about myself over the past year.  Whilst there were times I wondered if I was going to crack under time constraints, or push my sewing machine off the desk in creative frustration, I have come to realise that anything is possible if you just have faith in your ideas and give yourself the chance to strive for a goal.

Having the opportunity to raise money for the Starlight Foundation, and in a small way contribute to their massive efforts, has been an exceptional privilege.   Whilst the fundraising effort is not entirely over yet, I hope to (by the final party in June) reach my fundraising goal, and encourage others to find a way to give back to causes they find meaningful – it is totally worth the effort!

In terms of specified thank you’s, I must say a massive, capslocked, powerfully mushy, THANK YOU to my boyfriend Thomas.   Over the past year you have listened to my ravings, helped me choose fabrics, driven me everywhere, encouraged me to keep going, and endured possibly the girliest, most pastel-kitten-cutesy events ever, without even a hint of complaint or annoyance (even when I was being an a-hole).  I genuinely could not have done any of this jazz without your help, and love you more than all the pom poms, and all the sausage dogs in the world combined.

I must also thank my lovely Parentals and the whole Lynch household (even the puppies, George and Oscar) for their mammoth amount of support, encouragement, and help – you guys are the best! Also, my lurve and thanks goes out to all the beautiful gals who have given their time to wearing the frocks from this project and making them come to life each and every time!

So on that note of pure gooey-lurve, I will say nighty nighty for now and skoot off into an evening of NO MORE SEWING.  If you’re feeling keen, do make bid on the pop-up auction on the facebook page, and keep an ear out for the details for the final party in June…it’s going to be a wild one.

Thanks again for tuning in lovelies! Over and Out!

xo
