Just over a week ago I went and did a crazy, grown up thing…I got married! Whilst I haven’t swarmed this blog with pictures of that particular day (YET), I couldn’t help but share with you some images that I have been collecting whilst on my Honeymoon in Tokyo. Right now I am sitting in our little apartment in Shibuya, exhausted from a day of legging it through Disneyland, but dulling the pain of our small marathon with butt-loads of Pocky and red-bean buns. As to be expected, I am totally in love with Japan. Everything from the food, to the people, to the fashion…gah, just everything is so totally magical! Never have I ever seen so many perfect uses of mint green and dusty pink! Never have I eaten so many delicious bread snacks! Anywho, I could go on and on about my love for this place, but instead…here are some little snaps of sweet things that have caught my eye so far.
I love these perfectly organised stalls in the Subway. They make me want to be a better, more ordered person.
No one seemed to give two-hoots about this tiny taped off section in Ginza Station…but it has to be one of the most perfect little nooks that I have EVER seen. Look at that pink door…and that green and white tape! This is what my doorway to heaven would look like! So obvi I needed to take a photo with it…
All the things you never knew you needed can be found at the greatest shop ever…Tokyo Hands.
The trees outside the Imperial palace in the heart of Tokyo were just so majestic and beautiful…perhaps even, imperial?
Paper treasures.Flowers in the back streets of Shibuya.Me in the back streets of Shibuya!
Tiny pine cones from Yiyogi Park. Cue argument with new Husband regarding my bringing these back with us to Australia. We deal with really big, tough issues everyday.
This is a picture of me wanting everything in a shop. Obviously I knew that if I bought this cutie bear and took it home, Daphne and Daisy would find a way to steal it from me and tear it apart. This is why we can’t have nice things.
My crown *cough, EARS* from a day well spent at Tokyo Disneyland.
Lurking behind cute couples and taking their picture is how I roll.
These are just 2 of the MANY treasures we have collected from the capsule machines that are EVERYWHERE around Tokyo! So many wonders to collect and hoard.
And on that note, I will be off! I will post some more snaps of our adventures soon!
