In mid June, I packed some of my poms in a suitcase and hit the road to Sydney. The destination was GAFFA gallery in the CBD to install Apomogy at the finals of the Yen Magazine Female Art Awards. Whilst I love travelling with Thomas, or friends, or family (literally with anyone) it was nice to have the day to myself to have a look/shop around the city. I treated myself to a fabby breakfast, multiple coffees and then had a glorious afternoon in the gallery just listening to Beyonce and installing my work. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the opening night party itself due to work commitments, but it looked like a real hoot of a time. And boy, oh boy, the other finalists in the exhibits had some exquisite work on display!! So many clever cats out there.

As we all know, it’s getting pretty cold out there! We know it’s time to crack out the girl’s skivvies when they start shivering or burrowing into our jumpers (whilst we’re still wearing them). SO crack them out we did, and now they have been trotting around the house looking so damn cute. Speaking of damn cute, I took some time to show Daphne her newest editorial in Frankie Magazine, which she enjoyed very much.
I set aside some time in June to do some critical bedazzling to create a fancy frock to wear to my next GOMA workshop. I find bedazzling to be such a good way to tune out and relax…
Last weekend I got to hang out at GOMA in my bedazzled frock and make some paper masks and collages. What an ideal way to spend a Sunday!
July is set to be a pretty busy month! I have some pretty fun things cooking away behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share them with you all! Chat soon. xx
